Daisylynia Velasquez
Born and raised in a bustling Arkansas community, Daisylynia Velasquez grew up with an insatiable curiosity about the world. She devoured books, newspapers, and anything she could get her hands on to stay informed.
This early love for storytelling sparked her interest in journalism, a field she viewed not just as a profession but as a calling to bridge gaps in understanding.
As a young woman, Daisylynia pursued a degree in Journalism and Communications. During her studies, she discovered the profound impact that well-crafted stories could have on individuals and societies. Whether it was shedding light on hidden truths or inspiring action, she saw storytelling as a tool for change.
The Turning Point: Recognizing a Need
After years of working in traditional media outlets, Daisylynia began to notice a troubling trend: news platforms were becoming increasingly polarized and fragmented. The world needed a space that balanced depth with accessibility, accuracy with creativity, and global perspectives with personal relevance.
Recognizing this gap, Daisylynia set out to create something new—a platform that informed and uplifted readers while fostering a sense of connection in a rapidly changing world. With this vision in mind, Cover News Delight was born.

In 2017, Daisylynia established Cover News Delight from a modest office at 3585 Dawson Drive in Little Rock, Arkansas. What began as a small team of writers and editors quickly grew into a thriving community of journalists, content creators, and contributors passionate about delivering high-quality, impactful content.
Daisylynia’s approach was clear from the start:
